"The BOSSnet solution was assessed by AWH as an intuitive, easy to navigate system. BOSSnet was felt to be a low risk, proven solution that was a close fit with current clinical and business processes. The BOSSnet solution provided the greatest value for money against the AWH requirements." Wendy Sutcliffe CHIM - EHI Project Manager
Planning is well underway to have Core Medical Solutions' newest client, Albury Wodonga Health working from a BOSSnet clinical environment by mid-2012.
The Australian-first amalgamation between cross-border hospitals in 2009 to form AWH, was the first step in achieving a centralised medical record for the catchment's 320,000 citizens.
Over the next 6-12 months, each of the various BOSSnet functional modules will be customised and deployed to an eagerly awaiting AWH workforce, who are set to not only benefit from the entire breadth of BOSSnet functionality, but to also enjoy working with the System from a range of access devices including desktop PC's, tablet PC's, COW's and i-Devices.
The AWH Executive have signalled their intention to rapidly join (if not leap-frog) existing BOSSnet sites, regarded by many around the nation as being leaders in eHealth and already enjoying the quality of care benefits associated with enhanced patient information management.
e-Forms will play a larger than usual role in AWH's immediate Go-Live, as the organisation is confident that a significant majority of the existing paper MR forms are readily convertable to a BOSSnet DMR equivalent given the significant amount of prepatory work already completed with regard to forms audit, barcoding and cataloging across AWH.
